SHAED Release new single ‘ONCE UPON A TIME’.

As Multi-Platinum DC trio SHAED approaches 2 BILLION streams worldwide, on 11th December the family band will reveal their brand-new single ‘Once Upon A Time’.

SHAED’s Chelsea Lee, and twin brothers Max and Spencer Ernst (Lee’s husband) self-produced the stirring ballad in their home-studio and directed the 13-piece FAMES orchestra in Macedonia alongside renowned composer Jherek Bischoff (Brian Eno, Angel Olsen) via Zoom. Carried by Lee’s warm vocals, verses build with plucking and swaying strings before crashing into the song’s wide-open choruses, culminating in a final, soundtrack-worthy, orchestral movement. The track comes from the band’s highly anticipated debut album – due out April 16th, 2021 via Photo Finish Records.

‘Once Upon A Time’ is accompanied by an otherworldly and beautifully cinematic music video co-directed by Daniel St. Ours and SHAED.

Carly Shea is an NYC-based musician creating songs that fluctuate between house-inspired pop and alternative soul. Her songs are a reflection of the ups and downs of living— from enjoying careless nights out to contemplate the bigger picture. What began as a songwriting hobby in Brooklyn basements became a more serious pursuit when Carly met an A&R from SONY during the 2018 Grammys and received sync offers soon after. From there, she travelled between Mexico City, Los Angeles, and NYC to craft a catalogue of unique pop music and accompanying music videos. After a period of wondering if music would conflict with her role as a talent agent, Carly finally put her music first and released her debut single “Lemonade” in January 2020 with critical acclaim.

Fresh from releasing their new EP ‘I Wish I Was A’ (October 16th), surefire ones-to-watch NOISY is proving unstoppable as they share their new high-octane live EP session, straight from a petrol station. This gritty yet refined performance sees the band rattle through fan favourites, such as ‘Put A Record on’, ‘Oi’, ‘Where’s Your Head’ and the title track of their new EP, ‘I Wish I Was A’. Before signing with Island Records, the band worked alongside each other at their local NHS hospital as cleaners. This did not hinder their uncompromising drive to pursue music, quite the opposite, in fact. Their routine was to record demos during the day, and fine-tune the recordings at night, together, whilst they cleaned the hospital. It was this routine that saw their EP come to fruition.

The trio have a busy 2021 ahead of them, supporting the likes of YUNGBLUD, You Me at Six and Bad Sounds across their UK tours.

Making the most of his whirlwind year, Double Cup Kase is back with the video to his incendiary single ‘Golden Gun’ - the second visual offering from his latest project ‘O.DD’.

Directed by Gregor Emmanuel, the video follows Kase performing the track at various locations around his block. Surrounded by his boys, Kase spits on the code he lives by and the bond he shares with his close circle. “If I take out your bro, it’ll be a lonely one. Two young bucks in the four-door cruising with the Golden Gun. Tiger Wood man’s block, I’m just tryna put a hole in one”. The track itself was produced by TimeLvpseBeats, featuring a catchy piano melody and thumping bass that is fast becoming synonymous with Kase’s music, sonically tying it to the rest of the project.

Sonny first started gigging around the Newcastle area when he was just 14-years-old. His influences were broadly drawn from his parents’ love of music, covering vintage R&B, soul, folk and country. That gave him the foundations to build a following from a young age, with his EPs ‘Hopeless Romance’ (2017), ‘Northern Nights’ (2018) and the all-acoustic ‘Beech Road’. He also collaborated with Hannah Grace for two tracks in 2019.

Sonny is just as accomplished as a live performer. He has toured as guest to James TW, Gabrielle Aplin and Saint Raymond, and headlined the Servant Jazz Quarters in London and The Cluny in Newcastle.
