Singer-songwriter and all-round alt-pop fireball Oz today shares her debut single ‘Money’ via Truth Records. Money’ is a statement-of-intent, an uncompromising synthesis of Garbage’s dark-hued rock/electronica crossover with the bass-heavy zest of contemporary alt-pop. Like Oz herself, ‘Money’ is headstrong, provocative, fierce and never anything less than honest.

The single is accompanied by a new video, which was directed by Natalie Sakstrup. It compiles a range of elegant monochrome visuals which illustrate Oz’s words and demonstrates the all-pervading power of money.

‘Money’ is the first taste of Oz’s debut EP which will be released later this year via Truth Records. The EP will further develop the themes that she is innately drawn to: defiance, identity and self-discovery.

Oz has been a songwriter since her early teens after her father’s passion for music inspired her immersion in the worlds of bold musicians like The Clash, Dolly Parton, No Doubt and Kate Bush. Her fascination with life’s rough edges is inspired by her youth spent in her family’s pizzeria in a pre-gentrified Soho. It was one of London’s best-kept secrets: a centrally-located hideaway favoured by actors and musicians along with drag queens, sex workers, go-go dancers and old-school gangsters. People with stories to tell.

Zikai chose to step back from her first offer of a record deal and chose to develop her experiences by working extensively as a co-writer before proving that the wait was worthwhile by impacting us with her debut track ‘Mountain Peak’. She quickly became a hot tip, performing at Sweden’s Grammy and Oscar ceremonies before she’d even released her first EP.

She has now released her long-awaited debut EP ‘Make You Mine’ accumulating over 7.5 million streams, so far she featured on Mullally’s recent single ‘Fire’ and co-wrote ‘Hush’ for Yellow Claw and Weird Genius. Her ascending status has been underlined with a nomination for Rookie Artist / Band at the Denniz Pop Awards, which recognises Sweden’s best new talents. Zikai will be looking to follow in the footsteps of previous winners of the award, such as Tove Lo.

Zikai’s sound resonates with global artists, but the overall artistry and attitude remain her own. Her songs might touch upon Snoh Aalegra’s cinematic soul, Brandy’s throwback R&B, Mabel’s crossover appeal, or Dua Lipa’s postmodern disco. There’s a palpable African pop element too, sourced from her Ivorian father’s love of the influential Afropop favourites Magic System, plus the star quality of early 2000s MTV icons Rihanna and Omarion.

Zikai wrote ‘Twenty-Something’ with Anton Hård af Segerstad (Iggy Azalea, JoJo, Fifth Harmony), who also produced the track.

Matt Corby, achieved his commercial breakthrough with his fourth EP, Into the Flame (2011), which peaked at No. 3 on the ARIA Singles Chart, and by April 2012, was certified 6× Platinum by ARIA. His 2011 single "Brother" and his 2013 single "Resolution" both won ARIA Music Awards for Song of the Year. He is the 26th Australian male singer and the 100th Australian act to reach the number one position on the ARIA albums chart with his debut album Telluric (2016). Matt reveals his first new music of 2020, with two brand new songs released via Communion Music this summer. The sun-drenched and optimistic ‘Vitamin’, released August 14, with the timely ode to empathy ‘If I Never Say a Word’ following on August 21.

Matt has recently been collaborating with Tash Sultana, The Riot, Great Gable, and a local musician to him, Budjerah. He has also co-written a song with Sia which will feature in her upcoming musical movie.

Matt had to cancel a North American tour due to the pandemic but will continue to tour when the time is right. He is currently working on a new album.

Drive is an electronic, eclectic, genre bending, duo from Newcastle Upon Tyne. Jake Fletcher provides vocals and plays guitar. Andy Bell plays guitar and keyboards. Drive is influenced by some of their favourite artists: The Blue Nile, Bleacher, Phoenix and The 1975 and Arcade Fire to name a few. Inspired by the films of John Hughes, analog and the mediums of 80’s nostalgia, Super8, Polaroids, VHS and Cassette Tapes feed their imagination like they are discovering the medium with fresh eyes and impassioned energy, for the very first time. Signed to Soul Kitchen Recordings the label behind the likes of Jake Bugg have said they are excited to release Drive’s debut single: Old Cassette Tape, which will follow up with a debut EP. Old Cassette Tape is the soundtrack to coming of age, written and produced by Drive, mixed by Cenzo Townsend and mastered by Barry Grint. Drive made their debut appearance at last year’s Hit The North festival and are looking forward to being able to play live again as soon as the lockdown lifts restrictions on music concerts. Meanwhile, they remain in the studio working on their debut album due early next year.

Ellie Moon introduces ‘MOONiSMS’: her debut EP comprised of four perfectly crafted, witty and unique pop songs. The EP includes the brand new lead track ‘Kylie Jenner’.

However, what I want people to get from it is, yeah it’s cool and lovely to be beautiful and have people tell you you’re amazing all the time. Who doesn’t want that? But if you’re not actually happy, and I don’t mean you have to be smiling and live love laughing 24/7,what’s the point?”

The newest star in the Outlaw Country-Rock space is Cory Marks. With his huge hit, “Outlaws & Outsiders” (feat Ivan Moody of Five Finger Death Punch, Travis Tritt and Mick Mars of Mötley Crüe), Marks has a Top 10 record and is making his mark. His debut album, WHO I AM, is ready to take fans of both genres on a wild ride.

Full of autobiographical storytelling, guitar-driven anthems, drinking songs, and breakup ballads, WHO I AM is rooted in the influence of Cory's hometown, where he grew up Ontario Canada. It was there where he began playing drums at ten years old. When he wasn't banging along to songs by Deep Purple, Ozzy Osbourne, and Rush, he was listening to his parents' country records, developing a deep appreciation for the likes of Waylon Jennings and Merle Haggard. Those two genres — classic country and amped-up rock — would eventually join forces in Marks' own music, earning him a string of gigs with heavyweights like Toby Keith and Brantley Gilbert along the way.

Speaking about ‘Future Nostalgia’ Dua explains “What I wanted to do with this album was to break out of my comfort zone and challenge myself to make music that felt like it could sit alongside some of my favourite classic pop songs, whilst still feeling fresh and uniquely mine. I was inspired by so many artists on the new record from Gwen Stefani to Madonna to Moloko to Blondie and Outkast, to name just a few.
